Over 600 exhibitors took part in the last show in 2022, which was attended by 18,500 visitors. Overseas visitors represented approximately 8% of the total.
How big is the exhibition area?
The showground covers an area (gross) of approximately 140,000m². The net stand space occupied in 2022 was 59,536² and the demonstration areas extend to around 30,000m².
What is unique about the event?
The working demonstration areas are what make Hillhead unique. There are four separate demonstration areas:
- Quarry face for large excavators, face shovels, hydraulic breakers, wheel loaders and dumptrucks
- Rock processing for crushers, screens, scalping grids and stockpiling conveyors
- Recycling area for crushing, shredding, screening and washing equipment
- Registration area for rock processing and recycling demonstrations
