Following up on Part 1, where we looked at the Quarry Face and Registration Demo Areas, we’ll continue to explore what’s taking place in the other two live demonstration areas at the show!
Rock Processing Demo Area
Fondly referred to as 'Crusher Alley', the Rock Processing Demo Area draws visitors across the whole western end of the Hillhead showground to see a range of tracked and skid-mounted crushers and screens, scalping grids and stockpiling conveyors.
Machines demonstrating here are fed by material extracted from the Quarry Face demonstration area.
2024 Demonstrations by:
Finlay, one of the global leaders in mobile crushing, screening, and conveying equipment, are set to unveil new electric variants of the I-120RS impact crusher and the 883+ scalping screen – both of which will be in action in the demo area!
MDS International, a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty rock trommels and conveyors, will be demonstrating the M515 track trommel at the show. In addition the compact yet powerful M412 will be on static display on their stand.
EvoQuip, manufacturers of compact crushing and screening equipment will be running live working demonstrations of the brand-new Bison 220R jaw crusher. They’ll also be displaying the Caiman 150 shredder on their stand.
Astec Industries will showcase some of their comprehensive product range at the event! They’ll be demonstrating the FT4250 mobile impact crusher, their flagship unit, that’s well known for its reliability, work rate, and ease-of-use.
Powerscreen will be showcasing five industry leading models on their stand, with the game changing 1300X cone crusher in action in the demo area.
Recycling Demo Area
The Recycling Demonstration Area attracts crowds to the south end of the site, where construction and demolition waste is imported on to the site to feed a range of specialist crushers, shredders and screens.
Alongside this, a selection of excavators, wheeled loading shovels, site dumpers, breakers and screening buckets will also be in action.
